Dr. Nuzhat Nazir Zia is Consultant Gynecologist at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre.  Dr. Nuzhat takes care of all kinds of Obstetrics & Gynaecology patients, from prenatal care to post-natal care and carries out procedures including Cesarean Sections, laparoscopic procedures, and laparoscopic hysterectomies.

Previously, Dr. Nuzhat has worked as a Senior Consultant during her stay in UK and Australia where her areas of interest were High Risk Pregnancy Care and Laparoscopic Surgery. Dr. Nuzhat also worked as a Consultant at King Fahad National Guard Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Lately, she has been working on and off in Australia since 2003 as senior consultant and in-charge of her shift. She has been practicing Gynae/Obs since the past 35 years.

Dr. Nuzhat is a member of British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) and Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP).

Dr. Nuzhat completed her MBBS degree from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar in 1983. She then went abroad to UK for her specialization and higher training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dr. Nuzhat is a gold medalist in Physiology and Obstetrics/Gynaecology during her MBBS from KMC. She has bagged several awards and certifications during her studies.
