A team of National Quality Assurance (NQA) Auditors visited Northwest General Hospital on the 24th of April, 2024 to carry out an ISO Surveillance Audit for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is recognised as the fifth pillar of human rights. In June 2022, the International Labour Organization (ILO) adopted “Safe and Healthy Work Environment” as one of its five fundamental principles and rights at work.
The External Auditors were satisfied with the implementation of standards at Northwest General Hospital, and as a result, the hospital’s certification for the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) was successfully extended for the year 2024-2025.
