Getting immunized is important for at least two reasons, to protect yourself and to protect those around you. Vaccines are the best way we have to prevent infectious disease. If exposure to a disease occurs in a community, there is little to no risk of an epidemic if people have been immunized.

Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre has a dedicated Vaccination Centre that caters to in-patients as well as outpatients. The vaccination centre provides quality vaccines, which are properly received & stored under required conditions. The temperature at which the vaccines are stored is very much important because it has a direct effect on the efficacy of vaccines. Therefore, the vaccination centre monitors & records storage temperature on daily basis. In addition, 24/7 electricity backup is ensured at the vaccination center so that our patient receive effective and quality vaccines. Our vaccinator is highly trained with vast experience in Expanded Programme on Immunization.
