Uroflowmetry

Uroflowmetry is a simple, diagnostic screening procedure used to calculate the flow rate of urine over fixed time. The measuring instrument calculates the amount of urine, rate of flow in seconds, and length of time until completion of the void. It tracks how fast urine flows how much flows out, and how long does it take to flow out.The test helps a Urologist assess how well the lower urinary tract functions. Your doctor may suggest Uroflowmetry if you have trouble urinating, or have a weak urinary stream.
