Northwest General Hospital & Northwest Institute of Health Sciences in collaboration with Edhi Home, commemorated World Physical Therapy Day on September 8th, 2023. The event aimed at raising awareness about the benefits of this practice, promoting a healthier lifestyle, and fostering a sense of community support.
The event initiated with an awareness walk led by the Physical Therapy Department, NWGH. A cake-cutting ceremony was held afterwards, with Dr. Zia Ur Rehman, CEO NWGH, gracing the event with his presence. Following this, the opportunity of this day was utilized by administering free physiotherapy sessions for women at Northwest Institute of Health Sciences and Edhi Home by our qualified staff.
We are grateful to Dr. Subhan Ur Rehman, Principal, NWIHS, and Mr. Hazrat Islam, In-charge Physical Therapy, NWGH, for their tremendous contributions and countless efforts in making this event a success and arranging free camps for women who benefited from the service. Our gratitude extends to Mr. Sher Gul, Circle In-charge Edhi-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Mr. Saifullah & Mr. Rafiq, Managers Edhi Home, Peshawar, for facilitating the physiotherapy sessions organised at Edhi Home, Peshawar.
