World Heart Day 2026 Celebrated at Northwest General Hospital

Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre marked World Heart Day 2026 with an awareness walk organized by the Department of Cardiology, followed by an informative presentation by Dr. Hamid Mehmood, Consultant Cardiologist, NWGH.

The event was graced by Malik Abdul Latif Awan, Chief Executive, Alliance Healthcare (Pvt.) Ltd., Dr. Ahmad Fawad, Head of Cardiology Department & Consultant Cardiologist, and Dr. Sidra Jabbar Khan, Dean MPED, along with faculty and staff.

Dr. Ahmad Fawad, Head of Cardiology Department & Consultant Cardiologist, NWGH, also addressed the participants, emphasizing heart disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and the importance of regular cardiac care.
