Dr. Muhammad Hayat is working as a Consultant in Anaesthesiology and Surgical Critical Care at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar. Dr. Hayat is involved with total perioperative care of patients before, during and after surgery, including Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine, Critical Emergency Medicine, and Pain Medicine. 

Prior to joining NWGH, Dr. Hayatpracticed as a Consultant at Aga Khan University, Karachi and at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. His particular area of practice and interests are Cardiac Anaesthesia, Uplifting Anaesthesia, and Surgical Critical Care services. He is also interested and involved in different trainings in the region.

Dr. Muhammad Hayat did his MBBS from KMC in 2006. He then went on to complete his Post Graduate Training in Anaesthesia at Aga Khan University Karachi and attained his Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in 2016.
