On October 13, 2023, Northwest General Hospital hosted an informative breast cancer awareness session at the National Bank of Pakistan, Staff College, Hayatabad, Peshawar, in commemoration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The session was conducted by Dr. Tarbia Hamid, a Consultant Breast and General Surgeon, along with Dr. Anam Safdar, Senior Registrar, Radiology, Dr. Najma Hameed and Dr. Shafqat Ara, Post Graduate Trainees, Radiology, NWGH. The event aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer and promote early detection and prevention.
