NWGH & Research Centre Pledges Support for Autism Awareness and Inclusion

Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre remains committed to fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibility by delivering quality healthcare services to marginalized communities. As part of this commitment, the organization regularly conducts a range of initiatives, including free medical camps, public awareness campaigns, and general welfare activities aimed at benefiting the wider community.

These remarks were shared by Malik Abul Latif Awan, Chief Executive of the hospital, during a ceremony organized by the Centre of Excellence for Special Children with Autism in observance of World Autism Day 2026.

He emphasized the importance of awareness and mass education regarding autism, highlighting the need for greater societal understanding and inclusion. He also reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to collaborate with the Centre of Excellence in the near future to further strengthen efforts aimed at improving the welfare and support of individuals with autism and their families.
