Northwest General Hospital and Research Centre, in collaboration with Northwest College of Nursing, organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Session for the students and faculty of NWIHS, NWCN, NWSM, and staff of NWGH.
The session was graced by Dr. Afroz Mushtaq, Consultant Breast Surgeon at SKMCH Peshawar, as the Chief Guest, who shared valuable insights on breast self-examination and prevention. Dr. Shandana Khan, HoD Radiology NWGH, highlighted the importance of early detection, while Ms. Sidra Aziz, Faculty NWCN, presented an informative talk on breast cancer awareness.
Dr. Amir Khan, Principal NWSM, and Dr. Col (R) Bakhtiyar delivered the closing remarks, appreciating the efforts of the organizers and participants. Syed Yousaf Shah, Principal NWCN, opened the session with a welcome address.
The students of NWCN also presented an impactful skit promoting awareness about early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
