The Global Surgery Directorate (GSD), Northwest was inaugurated on February 23, 2024. The directorate was inaugurated by the esteemed Prof. Franco Servadei, a visiting Professor of Neurosurgery from Northwest School of Medicine and the Ex-President of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies. Notable attendees included Prof. Dr Tariq Khan, Chairman AHL, along with Dr Sidra Jabbar, Dean AHL, Dr Zia Ur Rehman, CEO NWGH, Prof. Dr Noor Ul Iman, Principal NWSM and Dr Almas Khattak, Associate Director DERIL. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Basic Sciences faculty and other faculty members.
