The G4 Alliance conference was recently held in Northwest Peshawar, marking a significant milestone for the region. Prof. Tariq Khan, Chairman of Neurosurgery at Northwest General Hospital, welcomed guests and highlighted the conference’s importance, stating, “Hosting the G4 Alliance conference in Peshawar is a dream come true.”
The event focused on the urgent need for policy-making to prevent Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and related accidents, aiming to provide a roadmap for stakeholders to collaborate on effective solutions. Mr. Malik Latif Awan, CEO of Alliance Healthcare Private Limited, also welcomed participants, emphasizing the value of collective action in improving healthcare.
Founded in 2015, the G4 Alliance is an international advocacy organization focused on advancing global access to surgical, obstetric, trauma, and anesthesia care, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Professor Dr. Gail Rosseau, a neurosurgeon at George Washington University, emphasized the Alliance’s mission to address unmet medical needs and improve healthcare outcomes worldwide.
The conference served as a platform for sharing knowledge and fostering partnerships to tackle critical healthcare challenges.
