Northwest General Hospital (NWGH) and Research Centre is a 600+ Bed, State-of-the-Art Tertiary Care Hospital, Medical college, Teaching Institute and Research Centre, catering to the healthcare needs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and rest of Pakistan, as well as Afghanistan and neighboring countries.
NWGH is seeking expressions of Interest from experienced food retail operators who can demonstrate a proven track record in Operating and management of Kitchen for Hospital, Medical College, Health Institutes, or any other institution by delivering a high standard of food and beverage service to staff, students, and visitors. The Kitchen facility will be operated on Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) basis, the operator will provide the grey structure and finishing works, equip and operate the kitchen for a suitable length of time to be determined based on their business plan.
The EOI will be a two-stage tender process, in the first stage the Operators will be short listed based on their experience, financial and other resources available to them, while in the second stage the shortlisted operators will be asked to submit their business plan.
The successful operator will have the opportunity to provide catering services to the existing cafeterias, groups, staff visitors and other interested parties located within NWGH. There may also be an opportunity for the successful operator to provide catering services for functions held at different institutes of NWGH.
The grey structure for the Kitchen has been built on an area measuring 12,000 square feet with a cafeteria covering 9,000 Square feet.
Interested operators may submit their expression of interest accompanied by submission of the following documents in a sealed cover:
- The Company/ Firm/Agency profile.
- Copy of valid Company/ Firm/Agency Registration Certificate.
- Details of Organizations/Institutions/Public Place where the company/Firm/Agency has provided/providing the catering services.
- GST registration certificate.
- Financial Certificate from bank.
- Any other certificates as found relevant by the bidder.
