Dr. Nizamud Din is an accomplished Endocrinologist and Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar. His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of Diabetes Mellitus, pituitary gland disorders, thyroid and parathyroid gland disorders, calcium and metabolic diseases, infertility, young-age hypertension, disorders of cortisol metabolism, disorders of sexual differentiation (DSDs), and short stature.
He completed his MBBS from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar in 2015, followed by a house job at Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH). Dr. Nizamud Din received his General Medicine training at KTH and Endocrinology training at Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), Peshawar.
He holds double fellowships (FCPS) in General Medicine and Endocrinology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). After completing his training, he successfully cleared FCPS (Medicine) in 2021 and FCPS (Endocrinology) in 2024. He later joined Northwest General Hospital as a Senior Registrar and now serves as Assistant Professor.
In addition to his fellowships, Dr. Nizamud Din also holds certifications in CHPE (Certificate in Health Professions Education), CCR (Certificate in Clinical Research), and CHR (Certificate in Health Research).
