Dr. Nabeel Qasim is a Psychiatrist at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar. Dr. Nabeel holds extensive experience in managing depression, mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic illnesses, PTSD, addictions, sleep issues, psychosexual issues, disorders of the elderly, child & adolescent mental health presentations and complex neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism & ADHD. He has a special interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is an expert psychotherapist, offering this modality of therapy.

Before joining Northwest General Hospital, Dr. Nabeel completed his Psychiatry training at Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH). Since transitioning to Northwest General Hospital, he has assumed position as Senior Registrar in the Psychiatry Department.

Dr. Nabeel completed his basic medical education (MBBS) from Khyber Medical College in  2019, followed by completion of his Fellowship (FCPS) in Psychiatry from the College of  Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He has also completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Khyber Medical University and a Forensic Mental Health Certification accredited by Queen’s University, Canada. He is fully registered with the Medical Council of Ireland.
