Dr Fariha Afzal is a graduate of Khyber Medical college. She completed her FCPS training in Diagnostic Radiology from Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar and is a fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. She has worked as an Assistant professor of radiology for 6 years, in Kabir Medical college, Gandhara Institute of Medical Sciences, where she was also involved in undergraduate educationand curriculum integration. Her main interest is in obstetrics and gynecology and cross sectional imaging. Currently she is working as a consultant radiologist at Northwest General hospital.

Dr Fariha Afzal’s goals for the future are to have more involvement in research and  postgraduate teaching.
