Dr. Ahmad Fawad is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Director of Cath Lab services at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre. He deals with the cardiac patients and provides cardiovascular care. Dr. Ahmad Fawad has a vast array of experience in cardiac care and performing angiographies and angioplasties.
Dr. Ahmad Fawad’s main interest remains in coronary intervention through radial route. His other areas of interest also includes pacemaker, Percutaneous Transvenous Mitral Commissurotomy (PTMC), Benign Positional Vertigo (BPV) and Peripheral Arterial Embolization.
Dr. Ahmad Fawad is a Member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (M.R.C.P., UK).
Dr. Ahmad Fawad did his MBBS from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar in 1996 and then moved to the UK for further training. After he completed his postgraduate studies and obtained his M.R.C.P. following his training in Cardiology, he shifted back to Pakistan in 2007, where he has been working since.
