Dr. Adnan Khan is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Northwest General Hospital. He is formally trained to manage a wide plethora of cranial and spinal neurological conditions. His areas of interest include surgical neuro-oncology in particular minimal invasive and endoscopic approaches, skull base/vascular and paediatric neurosurgery.

A graduate of Khyber Medical College Peshawar, Dr. Adnan Khan completed his post graduate training in Neurosurgery (ACGMEI accredited) at Hamad General Hospital (HGH), HMC, Doha, Qatar. He was then employed as a specialist neurosurgeon at HGH for 3 years. He has also served as a clinical instructor of neurosurgery at College of Medicine, Qatar University. Dr. Adnan has successfully finished a fellowship programme in clinical paediatric neurosurgery, accredited by CAST (Committee on Advanced Subspecialty Training) and ACPNF (Accreditation Council for Paediatric Neurosurgery Fellowships), conducted at two Ivy-league campuses; Cornell & Columbia at New York Presbyterian Hospital USA.

Driven by a keen interest in clinical research, Dr. Adnan has numerous publications in international, peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored multiple chapters in neurosurgical books. He is certified by the ECFMG and holds memberships of RCSEng, AANS and GMC.
