Free Medical Camp Provides Accessible Healthcare to More Than 540 Patients

A free medical camp was organized at Northwest General Hospital II on August 27, 2026, as part of Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible and quality healthcare to the community. More than 540 patients suffering from various health conditions benefited from the camp.

The initiative provided patients with free medical consultations and complimentary medicines, while essential diagnostic investigations were offered at highly subsidized rates. X-rays and ultrasound services were available at a 50% discount, while other necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests were provided at affordable prices, helping make quality healthcare more accessible to underserved members of the community.

The camp offered consultations across a wide range of specialties, including General Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Pediatrics, and Urology.

A team of highly qualified consultants and specialists participated in the camp, including Dr. Raja Irfan Qadir, Consultant & Head of Orthopedics Department; Dr. Muhammad Hanif Afridi, Medical Specialist & Gastroenterologist; Dr. Nargis Gulab, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist; Dr. Hamid Mehmood, Consultant Cardiologist; and Dr. Muhammad Kashif Farooq, Consultant Infectious Diseases.
