The Medical Professional Education Department (MPED), in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre (NWGH&RC), Peshawar, successfully organized a Symposium on “Basic Surgical Skills Workshop” on Tuesday, 2nd September 2025. The workshop was designed to enhance core surgical techniques, sharpen clinical competence, and foster standardized training practices among Postgraduate Trainees.

The event drew enthusiastic participation, with trainees actively engaging in hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises under the mentorship of senior faculty. The interactive format not only enriched their learning experience but also boosted confidence in applying essential surgical skills in clinical settings.
