Dr. Ayesha Latif is a distinguished Consultant Paediatric Hematologist and Oncologist at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar. A graduate of Khyber Girls Medical College, Peshawar, she completed her general paediatrics training at Khyber Teaching Hospital.

She further specialized by pursuing a fellowship in Paediatric Hematology and Oncology at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Rawalpindi, achieving certification from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) in June 2025. Notably, she is the only CPSP-certified Paediatric Hematologist and Oncologist currently practicing in Peshawar.

Dr. Ayesha’s expertise also includes Paediatric Palliative Care, for which she is certified by the Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration’s iEcho Project. In addition, she holds a specialized certification in the management of Retinoblastoma in children from St. Jude Research Hospital.

Her clinical interests cover the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of childhood cancers, blood disorders, and complex hematological conditions. Dr. Latif is also committed to research, having authored multiple original research articles and case reports contributing to advancements in paediatric cancer and blood disease management.
