The Pediatrics Department successfully conducted a Neonatal Resuscitation and Simulation Workshop based on the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) on 10th May 2025.
The day commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. Bilal Sethi and Dr. Mohammad Arif.
The academic session featured nine insightful lectures, interspersed with refreshments and a lunch break to keep participants refreshed and engaged.
In the second half of the day, participants engaged in hands-on training across four dedicated stations, focusing on:
Chest compressions
Positive pressure ventilation (PPV) devices
Endotracheal intubation
Medication administration
This was followed by simulation drills, where participants collaboratively performed newborn resuscitation in realistic team-based scenarios.
A debriefing session provided an opportunity to reflect on performance, share learning points, and reinforce key takeaways from the simulations.
The day concluded with the distribution of certificates to all our enthusiastic and dedicated participants.
