Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre Launches Plantation and Cleanliness Drive in Collaboration with PDA

Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre (a project of Alliance Healthcare), in collaboration with the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), successfully organized a Plantation and Cleanliness Drive Ceremony to promote a healthier, cleaner, and greener environment.

The ceremony was graced by notable guests, including Mohammad Naeem Khan, Director General PDA; Manzoor Yousaf, Additional Director General PDA; Malik Abul Latif Awan, Chief Executive of Alliance Healthcare Private Limited (AHL); Mohammad Junaid, Acting Chief Operating Officer, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (Peshawar); Ms. Haseena Khan, Assistant Commissioner Hayatabad / PDA; and Ali Hoti, Member, Horticulture Society Pakistan (Peshawar Chapter).

Mehran Hayat, Assistant Manager of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment at NWGH, presented an overview of the initiative, emphasizing Northwest’s dedication to environmental sustainability through various partnerships and MoUs.

The Guest of Honour, Mohammad Naeem Khan, appreciated the initiative and underscored the importance of sustained efforts in plantation and beautification across Peshawar. He encouraged collective action toward environmental preservation.

Mohammad Junaid from SKMCH lauded the effort and called for wider collaboration to ensure a cleaner and greener future. Ali Hoti highlighted the role of youth in environmental protection and the need to preserve the city’s green spaces.

The event featured a symbolic awareness walk, plantation activities, and a pledge to continue the efforts for a sustainable environment. The drive aims to engage the community and inspire students to become responsible custodians of the planet.

Concluding the ceremony, Mr. Awan, Chief Executive of AHL, thanked all participants and presented shields to the distinguished guests in recognition of their support.
