Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical means such as exercises, physical agents (Cryotherapy, heat therapy, therapeutic Ultrasound, traction & TENS, etc.), and manual techniques, rather than medicine or surgery. It enables a patient to achieve his normal Activity of Daily Life (ADL) and Instrumental Activity of Daily Life (IADL). It can be used to treat patients pre & post-operatively.

At the NWGH Physiotherapy department, we guide patients to improve their strength and endurance, manage their pain, and prevent them from further injuries. We provide facilities to patients with a variety of conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), musculoskeletal conditions, spinal cord injuries, pediatrics, gynecological issues, sports injuries, and cardiac and respiratory problems. We have a fully qualified team of physiotherapists, who attend to both inpatients and outpatients at NWGH.
