The department treats patients coming in emergency with trauma as well as patients requiring selective procedures. The department caters to patients from all over the region, as well as other cities of Pakistan and even patients from other countries of the world.
There are dedicated beds for Plastic Surgery patients at Northwest General Hospital and patients coming in emergency with life-threatening injurues who require acute care are admitted in the Surgical ICU with Plastic Surgery department staff available on 24/7 basis.
