Neurology

The Neurology Department of NWGH provides in-patient and out-patient facilities for all neurological disorders around the clock. We offer in-patient service for all Acute emergency neurological disorders like acute stroke, epilepsy, demyelinating disorders, and acute neuromuscular disorders. The department has well-equipped electromyography (NCS/EMG) for all of our patients. We have a well-equipped neuro-rehabilitation department that offers their services for the rehab of chronic neurological disorders.

The department has a 6 bedded state-of-the-art Acute Stroke Unit and provides acute care to stroke patients. The Stroke Unit has fully trained staff for round-the-clock one-on-one care of the Stroke Patients and is overseen by two Consultants who are available on 24/7 basis.
