The Nutrition Department organized a one-day ‘Nutritional Awareness Session for Hemodialysis’ at the Patients Dialysis Unit, Northwest Teaching Hospital and Research Centre on the 6th of February, 2023.
During the session, the dietary recommendations for patients who were on Hemodialysis were discussed. Patients were assessed and counselled according to their respective needs and clarified on any food-related myths. Diet charts were also distributed among the patients.
