Dr. Salma Farman is currently working as a Consultant Sonologist in the Ultrasound Department at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar. In her role as a Sonologist, Dr. Salma uses Diagnostic Imaging techniques to create an image of internal body structures such as tendons, muscles, joints, blood vessels, and internal organs, with the aim of finding the source of a disease. She has been with NWGH for the last 10 years.

Dr. Salma Farman completed her MBBS from Ayub Medical College in 1992. After the completion of her basic medical training, she went on to achieve a Diploma in Ultrasound from LRH in 1998.
