The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) department at NorthWest General Hospital and Research Center is a team of dedicated members focused on Hospital performance through provision of quality services, patient satisfaction, and Continuous Quality Improvement. The department strives to ensure that the services being provided meet specific requirements. CQI Department’s main priority and commitment is to maintain a friendly, safe, satisfactory environment for patients and bring about improvement in the existing services.
The Continuous Quality Improvement Department at NWGH also assists other departments in policymaking, SOPs, guidelines, training and other necessary assistance required in improving performance and providing satisfactory patient care.
Currently the Department is working on Joint Commission International Certification Standards as the lead team. The department is not only formulating policies for the hospital but also making systems to ensure the policies are implemented and monitored for compliance. Key Performance Indicators have been finalized as performance measures that are being used to observe, analyze, optimize, and transform a healthcare process, to increase satisfaction for both patients and healthcare providers. Our department is in liaison with both clinical and non-clinical departments in implementing Standard Operating Procedures and Policies as per JCI Standards for providing and improving better services as per the applicable standards.
CQI Department has played a vital role in achieving ISO 9001: 2015 certification, for North West General Hospital & Research Center as well.
