The Department of Neonatology, Northwest General Hospital successfully conducted a neonatal invasive ventilation course from 21st to 23rd January 2023. The course was initiated following the registration of candidates and the recitation of the holy Quran.
Before initiating the lectures session, Dr. Bilal Ahmad Sethi welcomed everyone and gave a brief course overview.
A pretest with Kahoot was done. There were 6 lectures on invasive ventilation with tea and lunch breaks in between followed by hands-on 4 skill stations where candidates were demonstrated how to use, operate and what strategies to be applied for the ventilation of a newborn.
Towards the end of the course, session certificates were distributed among the participants. A very warm and positive feedback was given by all the participants.
