On August 8, 2023, Northwest General Hospital, in partnership with Getz Pvt Ltd., arranged a hepatitis awareness walk. Dr. Muhammad Hanif Afridi and Dr. Muhammad Nazir, Consultant Gastroenterologists at NWGH, took the lead in organising the march within the premises of the hospital, aimed at raising awareness about preventive measures against the disease.
